Creating a Seapine One account

If your organization already has a Seapine One account, contact your Seapine One administrator to be added to it.

  1. Go to Seapine One. The login page opens.
  2. Click Register now.
  3. Enter your contact information. Create and confirm a password.
  4. Confirm you are a human.
  5. Click Register.
  6. Check your email. You will receive an account validation email.
  7. In the email, click Validate Seapine One Login. Your account is activated. You can now log in with your email address and password.

Logging in to Seapine One

  1. Go to Seapine One. The login page opens.
  2. Enter your Email Address and Password. If you forgot your password, click Forgot password?.
  3. Click Log In. The Seapine One dashboard opens. You can manage your TestTrack evaluation, manage your Seapine One account, or request a quote from Seapine.

Updating your contact information

  1. Go to Seapine One and click My Account.
  2. On the My Account Settings tab, make any changes. Your email address cannot be changed.
  3. Click Update. The changes are saved.

Changing your Seapine One password

You can change your password after logging in to Seapine One. If you cannot log in because you forgot your password, click Forgot password? on the login page to reset your password.

  1. Go to Seapine One and click My Account.
  2. Click the Reset Password tab.
  3. Enter the current password.
  4. Enter and confirm the new password.
  5. Click Update. The password is changed.

Changing your billing address

  1. Go to the Seapine One dashboard and click Manage Seapine One Account.
  2. Click the Account Details tab.
  3. Make any changes. The owner email and organization name cannot be changed.
  4. Click Update. The changes are saved.

Adding users to a Seapine One account

You can add additional users to a Seapine One account to give them access to perform specific roles.

  • Administrator users can add other users to the account, manage billing information, and perform technical tasks, such as add users to TestTrack evaluations.
  • Technical users can manage TestTrack project users, create new TestTrack projects, and request additional cloud evaluation instances.
  • Billing users can update billing information on the Seapine One account and purchase TestTrack.

Note: Users added to a Seapine One account are not also added as TestTrack users. These users can only log in to the Seapine One account and manage information based on their role.

  1. Go to the Seapine One dashboard and click Manage Seapine One Account.
  2. Expand the area for the role you want to add a user to.
  3. Enter the user’s email address in the Add User field.
  4. Click Add. The user is added to the account. If the user does not yet have a Seapine One account, they will receive an account validation email. To validate the account, they need to click Validate Seapine One Login in the email, enter and confirm the password, and then click Reset. The user can now log in to Seapine One.

Changing your billing address

  1. Go to the Seapine One dashboard and click Manage Seapine One Account.
  2. Click the Account Details tab.
  3. Make any changes. The owner email and organization name cannot be changed.
  4. Click Update. The changes are saved.

Requesting a quote

You can request quotes for Seapine products, training, or services.

  1. Go to the Seapine One dashboard and click Request a Quote.
  2. Review your contact information and make any changes.
  3. Select the product you are interested in and the quantity of users.
  4. Click Request a Quote. Your request is submitted. Your Seapine sales representative will contact you within one business day with more information.

Removing users from a Seapine One account

You can remove a user from a Seapine One account if they no longer need access to the account or to perform actions for their role.

  1. Go to the Seapine One dashboard and click Manage Seapine One Account.
  2. Expand the area for the role you want to remove a user from.
  3. Click Remove next to the user to remove. You are prompted to confirm the removal.
  4. Click Remove User. The user is removed from the account.

Leaving a Seapine One account

If you no longer need access to a Seapine One account, you can remove yourself from it. You cannot remove yourself if you are the account owner.

  1. Go to Seapine One and click My Account.
  2. Click Leave Account next to the account to remove yourself from. You are prompted to confirm the removal.
  3. Click Remove. You are removed from the account.

Creating additional Seapine One accounts

You can create multiple Seapine One accounts. For example, if you want your own instance of a Seapine One account or have left your previous organization, you can create a new account.

If your organization already has a Seapine One account, contact your Seapine One administrator to be added to it.

  1. Go to Seapine One and click My Account.
  2. Click the My Seapine One Accounts tab.
  3. Enter an Account Name.
  4. Click Create New Seapine One Account. The account is created.

Evaluating TestTrack

You can evaluate TestTrack for 14 days before you purchase it. You will have full access to all product features and technical support during the evaluation period.

Your TestTrack evaluation is hosted in the cloud. You do not have to install anything and sample projects with test data are provided. There are just a few steps you need to complete to get started with your evaluation.

  1. Go to the TestTrack evaluation page.
  2. Create a Seapine One account.
  3. Create a TestTrack evaluation.
  4. Start exploring TestTrack Web. Use the URL and login information we email to you.
  5. If you are interested in exploring TestTrack’s administrative features, such as configuring workflows and creating reports, download and install the TestTrack Client. Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux clients are available. Use the server connection and login information we email to you.
  6. Optionally add others users to the sample project to give them access to the evaluation.
  7. Visit the TestTrack evaluation walk-through page to get started with TestTrack.

Creating a TestTrack evaluation

  1. Go to the Seapine One dashboard and click Create TestTrack Evaluation. Your evaluation is created.
  2. Check your email.

Viewing TestTrack connection and URL information

Go to the Seapine One dashboard and click Manage TestTrack Demo. The TestTrack Web URL, TestTrack Client connection information, and links to TestTrack Client installers are displayed.


Adding users to TestTrack projects

You can add additional users to the sample projects in your TestTrack evaluation. Users have access to all TestTrack functionality during the evaluation period.

  1. Go to the Seapine One dashboard and click Manage TestTrack Demo.
  2. Click Manage Project Users next to the project you want to add users to.
  3. In the Add User to Project section, enter the user’s contact information.
  4. Click Add User. The user is added to the project. They will receive an email with a link to TestTrack and their username and password. The email also includes information about downloading, installing, and configuring the TestTrack native client if the user wants to evaluate TestTrack’s administrative features.

Viewing TestTrack project users

  1. Go to the Seapine One dashboard and click Manage TestTrack Demo.
  2. Click Manage Project Users next to the project you want to view users for.
  3. Expand the User List to view the project users.
